A proud native of Salem, Oregon, Dr. Howerton is honored to serve the community that shaped him. After graduating with highest honors from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, he continued his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, where he received his medical degree and completed a rigorous residency program, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of surgical care.

Dr. Howerton is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered treatment and takes pride in helping his patients achieve optimal oral health and confidence. Whether performing complex or routine surgical procedures, his approach is grounded in precision, empathy, and a deep commitment to excellence.

Outside the office, Dr. Howerton enjoys life with his wife and their two young daughters. Together, they love exploring Oregon’s natural beauty and staying active. For Dr. Howerton, there’s no greater joy than raising his family and building his practice in the place he has always called home.
